The federation account allocation committee (FAAC) says it distributed the sum of N1.96 trillion in December to the federal government, states, and local government councils.
According to NAN, details of the revenue distribution were contained in a communiqué from FAAC issued by Bawa Mokwa, the director of press and public relations at the office of the accountant-general of the federation.
The committee had held its monthly meeting in January, but failed to publish details of the allocation until now.
According to the communiqué, the N1.969 trillion total distributable revenue comprised statutory revenue of N1.08 trillion, value-added tax (VAT) revenue of N846.5 billion, and an electronic money transfer levy (EMTL) income of N38.11 billion.
