The management of Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences, Iyin-Ekiti has reminded students to maintain decent dressing and uphold the institution’s values as the second semester officially begins.
In a statement shared on the university’s official platform, the institution emphasized that students’ appearance reflects both their character and the image of the school community.
According to the statement, FUTES-IYIN stands for excellence, dignity, and responsibility, urging students to avoid inappropriate outfits and dress in a way that aligns with the standards of a disciplined academic environment.
The school further encouraged students to represent the institution with pride both inside and outside the classroom.
“Dress smart. Dress decent. Dress with purpose,” the statement read.
