The Kwara State High Court, sitting in IIorin, on Wednesday, May 13, sentenced the General Overseer of Mission House of Divine Land of Joy and Prayer Ministry, Prophet Ajiboye Abayomi Olayinka, to life imprisonment for √_ping three uÏ€d£raged members of his congregation inside the church premises.
The convict bagged three life imprisonment penalties for three different offences bordering on illegal $_xual int€rcourse with 13-year-old m_n0rs.
The offences, according to the court, were committed inside the church’s mission house located in the Agah area of Ganmo, where he served as spiritual leader.
Olayinka was also slammed with a 14 years imprisonment for illegally ab.0√t!ng several pr_gnancies of his victims and thr3atened them not to disclose the illicit act to anyone.
According to the trial judge, Justice Hammed Aliyu Gegele, the convict used his position as a clergyman to turn his victims into $_x machines, abu$ing them physically and mentally.
The court narrated how one of the victims recounted her ordeal with the prophet.
