It was a moment of honour, pride, and royal endorsement as the palace of HRH Oba Aderemi Adelola warmly received Grace Aderonke Atoyebi, a frontline aspirant for the Ondo State House of Assembly, Odigbo Constituency II, and bestowed royal blessings upon her at Araromi-Obu Kingdom. The first Class Oba who also serve as the Chairman of Oba Council in Odigbo local government area of Ondo State declares her total support for Grace Aderonke Atoyebi in the forth coming State election.
The monarch, popularly known as Otikirimisi Adedugba I, openly acknowledged Grace Aderonke Atoyebi as a true daughter of the soil, describing her as one of the proud ambassadors of the Araromi-Obu community.
Speaking during the royal reception, the revered traditional ruler encouraged Grace Aderonke Atoyebi to remain connected to her roots and continually identify with her people and heritage.
According to the monarch, the palace and the entire Araromi-Obu Kingdom are proud of her achievements, leadership qualities, and commitment to the growth and unity of the community.
The royal father further urged her to always visit home and maintain strong ties with the people, noting that Araromi-Obu remains her ancestral home and source of strength.
Among dignitaries present at the event were Comrade Bola Taiwo, Special Adviser to the Governor on Union Matters; Hon. Olu Falolu; Barrister Monebi; Hon. Adeolu; chiefs and descendants of the Awoniyi family led by the Head of the Family Mr. Fagbede, former local government Chairman Hon. Ikumawoyi Babatunde; and Hon. Ikumawoyi Ayodele J.
The gathering also witnessed overwhelming support from indigenes of Araromi-Obu, both at home and in the diaspora, as many declared their readiness to return home in solidarity and support of Grace Aderonke Atoyebi’s aspiration and mandate for Odigbo Constituency II.
Community members described the occasion as a symbol of unity, progress, and collective commitment toward the advancement of Araromi-Obu Kingdom.
