Nigeria begins 30-day Visa-Free entry for Rwandan Citizens

The Federal Government has officially commenced the implementation of a 30-day visa exemption policy for citizens of Rwanda following a directive by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The announcement was made during the Africa CEO Forum held in Kigali and forms part of a reciprocal agreement between both countries, as Rwanda already grants visa-free access to Nigerian citizens.

In a statement released on Friday, the Nigeria Immigration Service confirmed that all necessary arrangements had been concluded to ensure the immediate enforcement of the policy at the country’s international entry points.

The move is expected to strengthen diplomatic ties, improve regional integration, and promote trade, tourism and business opportunities between Nigeria and Rwanda.
