Ambassador Dr. Amaka Okeke has denied allegations linking her to claims currently circulating online, describing the reports as false, malicious, and baseless.
In a statement released on Thursday, Okeke clarified that her relationship with media personality Frank Edoho was strictly professional when they first met in 2024 and only evolved into friendship in May 2025 during a personal situation involving Edoho.
She stated that any narrative suggesting otherwise was “completely untrue.”
“I am deeply disappointed to see my name attached to narratives that are malicious, baseless, and entirely inaccurate,” she said.
Okeke urged members of the public to refrain from spreading unverified claims capable of damaging reputations, families, and individuals.
The ambassador further disclosed that her legal team had been informed and would take appropriate action over the matter in due course.
She added that she remains focused on her work and would not make further comments on the controversy.
Okeke also expressed appreciation to supporters who reached out to her amid the allegations.
