Wife of popular Fuji musician, Abass Akande Obesere, Alhaja Hon. Sekinat Tolanikawo Adelakun Akande (Eruobodo 1), has declared her intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Adelakun made her declaration at St. Cyprian Primary School, Ibadan, where party members, women groups, and supporters gathered to witness the announcement.
Speaking during the event, the aspirant said her decision to join the race was driven by her passion for people and desire to provide quality representation.
