Here’s a story that really makes you shake your head and laugh at the same time.
In Yobe State, Nigeria, a man named Abbas was arr+sted for something straight out of a movie, he dressed up as a woman just to visit his girlfriend in her father’s house.
Yep, he literally swapped his regular clothes for female attire to sneak past the guards or family members and see his girl.
It’s w!ld, but not totally unique. There was this guy in Uganda, Musa Semwogerere, also known as Mukisa Anthony, who got caught doing something similar back in July 2023.
Only, Musa’s plan was a bit different. He disguised himself as a woman to help his girlfriend, Irene Mutonyi, che@t on her final exams at the Law Development Centre in Lira.
Apparently, she had failed the exam twice, so Musa thought, “I’ll just blend in with the female students and make sure she passes.”
The authorities weren’t buying it, though, and he got arrested. Stories like these show just how far some men will go for love, or at least for the people they care about.
