The Ondo State Commissioner for Finance, Mrs. Omowunmi Isaac, has been invited by the Nigeria Police Force in connection with an ongoing investigation into serious criminal allegations.
The invitation was issued and signed by Assistant Commissioner of Police Mayamba Magomya Aliya on behalf of the Inspector General of Police Monitoring Unit at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.
The police noted that the request was made in line with Section 53(2)(a) of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, 2015.
According to the letter, the police are investigating a case involving alleged criminal conspiracy, attempted murder, threat to life, assault, and causing grievous bodily harm.
The document stated that Mrs. Isaac’s name featured prominently in the report submitted to the Inspector General of Police.
