The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of candidates who wrote the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on Monday, April 20.
This was made known on Tuesday by JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, who confirmed that candidates can now check their results through the normal process.
According to JAMB, candidates should send “UTMERESULT” to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number used during registration.
The 2026 UTME started on Thursday, April 16, with over two million candidates taking part in computer-based tests across Nigeria.
JAMB has been releasing the results in batches based on each examination day. Results for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday candidates had already been released earlier.
The board had earlier apologized for the delay in releasing some results, explaining that it was due to official engagements involving its chief executive.
Candidates are advised to use only the approved JAMB channels to check their scores.
