🐍 Snakes Don’t Want You — They Want Survival

🏡 What Attracts Snakes to Your Compound?
According to Dr Mark, snakes show up for two main reasons:
1️⃣ Shelter:
• Rubble
• Leftover pipes
• Wood, blocks
• Overgrown corners
All perfect hideouts.
2️⃣ Food:
• Rats
• Lizards
• Frogs
• Even chickens
“Snakes will travel long distances following rodents or prey,” he warns.
🤔 If You See a Snake, Ask Yourself:
✔️ What in my compound is giving it shelter?
✔️ Do I have rats, lizards, or frogs?
✔️ Do I have clutter or building materials lying around?
Snakes don’t randomly appear — something invited them.
🩺 If a Snake Bites You:
Dr Mark advises:
• Move away slowly — don’t trigger another bite.
• Try to note what the snake looks like.
• Seek medical help immediately.
