✅ Stats You Need to Know:
69,604 candidates registered (up 1.8% from 2024)
65,752 actually sat for the exams at 370 centres nationwide
51.69% got credit in at least 5 subjects (with or without English & Math)
42.17% hit the crucial benchmark: 5 credits including English & Math
Gender split: 48.39% male | 51.61% female
💡 WAEC also ensured inclusivity with support for candidates with special needs, including visual & hearing impairments and albinism.
⚠️ Heads up: 1,899 results were withheld due to malpractice — investigations are ongoing.
