A devastating mass shooting has claimed the lives of 10 people at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School and a nearby residence in Tumbler Ridge.
According to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), six victims were found inside the school, while another died en route to the hospital. Two additional bodies were discovered at a residence believed to be connected to the attack.
Police also confirmed that the suspected gunman was found dead with what authorities described as a self-inflicted injury.
