‎“No more discord with Fubara” — Wike declares after President Tinubu steps in

‎It looks like peace has finally returned to Rivers State politics!
‎FCT Minister Nyesom Wike says he has ended all issues with Governor Sim Fubara following a fresh intervention by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
‎Speaking in Abuja after inspecting ongoing FCT projects, Wike said:
‎🗣️ “By God’s grace, this will be the last time the President will be disturbed by this issue. Rivers people won’t hear of any discord again.”
‎He emphasized that when a father (the President) speaks, children must listen — and that peace and progress must now take center stage.
‎On what comes next, Wike added:
‎🗣️ “The House of Assembly will do what they are supposed to do, and I believe the governor will also play his part so that this peace lasts.”
‎With impeachment moves recently stirred up by the pro-Wike Assembly, President Tinubu had summoned both leaders for a closed-door meeting on Monday — a move that appears to have finally calmed the storm. 🌧️➡️🌤️
‎Wike concluded by thanking the President for his “tireless commitment” to restoring stability in the state.
