List of Governors that fought their Predecessors that Installed them

 

1. Ahmad Sani Yarima vs Mahmud Shinkafi*: Yarima, the first civilian governor of Zamfara State, had a falling out with his successor, Shinkafi .

2. Fubara fought Wike despite Fayose's warning. Fubara was about to be impeached but PBAT helped Fubara with an emergency rule. PBAT just technically stopped another impeachment bid with a strong instruction that Fubara must accept Wike as his leader. 

3. Mahmud Shinkafi vs Abdul'aziz Abubakar Yari*: Shinkafi, who served as governor from 2007 to 2011, had a strained relationship with his successor, Yari. 

4. Wamakko vs Tambuwal (Sokoto)*: Wamakko, a former governor, supported Tambuwal's governorship bid in 2015, but they later clashed, leading to Tambuwal's return to the PDP.

5. Akpabio vs Udom (Akwa Ibom)*: Akpabio, a former governor, handpicked Udom as his successor, but their relationship soured over time, with Akpabio leaving the PDP for the APC.

6. Obi vs Obiano (Anambra)*: Obi, a former governor, supported Obiano's governorship bid in 2014, but they later fell out, with Obi leaving APGA for the PDP, later Obi moved to LP and has an Obidient Movement. Obi is now in both ADC and LP. Obi is trying to run Atiku out of ADC in order to get Obi/Rabiu Kwankaso ticket. But Atiku formed ADC with El Rufai.

7. Kwankwaso vs Ganduje (Kano)*: Kwankwaso, a former governor, supported Ganduje's governorship bid in 2015, but they later clashed, leading to a fierce political rivalry. Ganduje just absorbed Gida Gida an inlaw and godson of Rabiu. Rabiu Kwankaso is crying bitterly now, upon that, Trump is about to capture Rabiu. 

8. Oshiomhole vs Obaseki (Edo)*: Oshiomhole, a former governor, supported Obaseki's governorship bid in 2016, but they later fell out, with Obaseki leaving the APC for the PDP. He later ran Oshiomhole out of Edo. Cabal later removed Oshiomhole as APC Chairman. Oshiomole has now installed Senator Monday as the APC Governor in Edo with Oshiomole's godson as the deputy.

9. Imoke vs Ayade (Cross River)*: Imoke, a former governor, supported Ayade's governorship bid in 2015, but they later clashed, with Ayade leaving the PDP for the APC.

10. Akume vs Suswan vs Ortom (Benue)*: Akume, a former governor, supported Suswan's governorship bid in 2007, but they later fell out, with Akume supporting Ortom's bid in 2015. Father Alia is currently fighting Akume. Akume and Ortom separated. Susan is now back in the APC.

11. Sheriff vs Shettima (Borno)*: Sheriff, a former governor, supported Shettima's governorship bid in 2011, but they later clashed, with Sheriff leaving the APC for the PDP. Sheriff ironically became the PDP Chairman and tried to remove Wike and Fayose both that installed him. It was tough before they retrieved PDP from Sheriff. Sheriff is back in APC. Shettima is now the current VP of Nigeria. Still in Borno State, Sheriff removed Mala Kachala who later died thinking of the humiliation.

12. Egwu vs Elechi (Ebonyi)*: Egwu, a former governor, supported Elechi's governorship bid, but they later fell out, with Egwu's influence waning in the state. Dave Umahi later took over the State and performed above expectations. Dave Umahi is the current performing Minister of Works. But he should be paying the local contractors. Not paying them is affecting the purchasing power of the populace.

 13. Orji Uzor Kalu vs Theodore Orji: Kalu, a former governor, had a strained relationship with his successor, Orji. Their disagreement led to a split in the PPA in Abia State. Dr Otti later took over Abia State under LP.

14. Theodore Orji vs Okezie Ikpeazu_: Orji, who defected from the PPA to the PDP, had a contentious relationship with his successor, Ikpeazu.

15. Chimaroke Nnamani* (May 1999 - May 2007): Elected Governor under the PDP fought to hell Jim Nwobodo.

16. Sullivan Chime* (May 2007 - May 2015): Elected Governor under the PDP fought Chimaroke Nnamid and Chime was said not to be okay, her wife was locked up in the government house for a long time.

17. Uba Sani fought briefly with El Rufai and El Rufai has now moved to ADC.

18. Dankambo ran Goje out of Gombe State. 

19. Dr Chris Ngige of Anambra State fought dirty his godfathers Uba Brothers. It was terrible.

20. The new Olubadan Ladoja as a governor fought his godfather Lamidi Adedibu dirty. Makinde refused to honor Adedibu at the so-called Oyo State @50 Celebrations.

21. Adamu Aliero of Kebbi vs his anointed candidate ex- governor Dakingari. Dakingari vs Atiku Bagudu. Bagudu an Abacha man is the Current FGN Budget man.
