Residents of Akute-Odo in Ifo Local Government Area, Ogun State, were left in shock on Monday after suspected attackers stormed Christ Crusaders’ Deliverance Ministries and killed the church’s security guard, popularly known as Baba Iwo.
According to eyewitnesses, the attackers entered the premises under unclear circumstances, causing panic among church members and nearby residents.
The Ogun State Police Command has been alerted, and investigations are reportedly underway to apprehend the perpetrators. Authorities have appealed to community members to remain calm while security agencies intensify patrols in the area.
The tragic incident has reignited concerns about security at religious institutions and public spaces in Ogun State, with residents calling for stronger measures to prevent similar attacks.
