Dangote Group Reshuffles Leadership, Names Dangote’s Daughters to Strategic Positions

LAGOS — Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, has elevated his daughters to senior management roles at the Dangote Group, a move seen as part of a broader succession and expansion strategy at the conglomerate.

According to Arise TV, the new appointments assign Fatima Dangote to oversee commercial activities in the oil and gas segment, Mariya Dangote to lead the cement and food businesses, while Halima Dangote will manage the Family Office and spearhead international operations based in Dubai and London.

The leadership reshuffle comes as the Group accelerates growth at the Dangote Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemicals and pursues an ambitious target of attaining a $100 billion valuation by 2030.

Industry observers say the appointments signal a deliberate effort to institutionalize leadership continuity while strengthening operational focus across the Group’s core and emerging business lines.
