Bello El-Rufai, son of former Kaduna governor Nasir El-Rufai, has spoken out after online calls for him to dump the APC for ADC ahead of the 2027 elections.
The lawmaker made it clear: he won’t leave the party because of social media pressure. His loyalty, he says, is first to his 51,052 voters in Kaduna North, the people who gave him a historic win in all 12 wards.
Bello added that the only reason he would leave APC is if his father, whom he calls “Mallam,” asks him to. “If Mallam asks me to leave, I’ll resign tonight,” he said.
He also praised Governor Uba Sani, calling him his “boss,” and promised to remain loyal and honourable in politics.
Bello highlighted the opportunities APC has given him, including working with top officials like CBN Governor Olayemi Cardoso, and stressed that he will never go against the governor publicly.
