A young Nigerian man has gone viral after going on his knees to apologise profusely to his girlfriend.
In the trending clip, the man admitted he had gone out, failed to chat or text, and was tipsy, but insisted he deeply regretted his actions.
With folded hands and kisses blown towards her, he begged for forgiveness, saying he never meant to hurt her feelings. “I’m very sorry about yesterday, my baby. I don shayo, but I swear to God it will never happen again,” he pleaded.
He added that even if he repeated the offence, he would always apologise. His repeated confessions of love left many online users divided, with some finding the gesture romantic and others calling it desperate.
