The newly appointed Special Assistant to the Governor of Ondo State, Comr. Segun Amos Emmanuel, has expressed profound gratitude to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for finding him worthy of appointment.
In an appreciation message made available to Peoplesmind.com.ng in Akure,the state capital of Ondo State, Comr. Amos described his appointment as not just an honour, but a call to greater service, responsibility and dedication to the people of Ondo State.
He said he was deeply grateful for the confidence reposed in him by the Governor and pledged not to take the opportunity for granted.
"First and foremost, I wish to sincerely appreciate the Executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Hon. Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for finding me worthy of this responsibility. This appointment is not only an honour; it is a call to greater service," he stated.
Comr. Amos also expressed special appreciation to the Honourable Commissioner for Finance, Ondo State, Hon. Omowunmi Isaac, for her invaluable support and role in facilitating the appointment, thanking her for the trust and opportunity created for him to contribute to the development of the state.
Similarly, he thanked the Leader of the Owo Local Government Legislative Arm, Hon. Adedoyin Adeyefa, whose support and encouragement, he said, were instrumental to the appointment.
According to him, public office is not a reward but a privilege to serve and an obligation to deliver, promising to approach the assignment with humility, professionalism and loyalty.
"I pledge to bring to this assignment the same commitment, energy, discipline and passion for public service that have guided my engagements over the years," he assured.
He further appreciated all leaders, mentors, colleagues, friends and well-wishers who contributed to his journey, noting that their prayers and belief in his capacity were significant.
Amos said he looks forward to working with leaders, stakeholders, youths and citizens across the state in advancing the vision of the Aiyedatiwa administration and contributing his quota to making Ondo State better for all.
