The Ijebu Youth Alliance (IYA) has announced plans to host the historic Ijebu Youth Festival 2026, a landmark event aimed at celebrating culture and empowering young people across Ijebuland.
According to the organizers, the festival is more than a celebration. It is designed to foster community building and empower youths through Vocational Training, Skills Acquisition, Talent Exhibitions, and various Youth Development programmes.
The festival will feature a rich lineup of activities including Cultural Showcase, Talent Exhibitions, Miss Ijebu Pageant, Inter-School Debate, Football Competition, and Sponsorship for WAEC and JAMB Examinations for outstanding students.
The Alliance noted that the festival presents an opportunity to embrace the potential within the youth, whom they described as the architects of a brighter, united, and prosperous Ijebu society.
They added that the Ijebu Youth Festival 2026 will serve as a reminder that the future and culture of Ijebuland must be nurtured and promoted.
The group is calling on well-meaning individuals, corporate bodies and stakeholders to partner and sponsor the event. For sponsorship and partnership enquiries, interested persons are advised to contact the phone number on the official flyer.
