Adelegbe's Third Term Means More Projects, More Jobs For Owo/Ose Youths - Constituents

The Concerned Citizens of Owo and Ose have expressed support for the rising campaign for the third term of Hon. Timehin Adelegbe as a member of the House of Representatives representing Owo/Ose Federal Constituency.

The group said Adelegbe’s proposed third term should serve as a pathway towards the total emancipation and development of the people of the constituency, with emphasis on completing ongoing projects, attracting new ones and implementing initiatives capable of creating lasting benefits for the people.

The concerned citizens stated that continuity in representation should provide an opportunity to consolidate ongoing projects while identifying new areas where federal interventions could make meaningful differences in the lives of constituents.

They identified roads, healthcare, education, youth capacity building, skills acquisition, infrastructure and other community based projects as areas that should continue to receive attention during another term.

The group also noted that Adelegbe’s experience as a ranking member of the House of Representatives could be leveraged to attract more opportunities to Owo and Ose Federal Constituency.

According to them, his knowledge of legislative processes and experience in the National Assembly could enhance his engagement with ministries, departments and agencies in pursuit of projects, programmes and other opportunities for constituents.

The Concerned Citizens further emphasised the need for greater attention to youth employment.

They described youths across Owo and Ose as talented, educated and willing to contribute positively to society, but noted that many still require access to employment, entrepreneurship opportunities, skills acquisition programmes and other forms of economic empowerment.

They argued that another term could provide an additional platform for pursuing job creation and empowerment opportunities for youths across the constituency, particularly through federal programmes, interventions and training initiatives.

The group stressed that its call for continuity was not merely for continuity's sake, but was based on the need to complete existing projects, initiate new ones, strengthen representation and expand opportunities for the people.

According to the group, Owo and Ose Federal Constituency requires effective representation capable of understanding its needs and leveraging federal institutions and opportunities to achieve greater development.

The concerned citizens maintained that Adelegbe’s proposed third term should focus on completing ongoing projects, attracting new development initiatives, expanding empowerment opportunities and advancing the overall development and emancipation of the people of Owo and Ose Federal Constituency.

They consequently called on the people of Owo and Ose to carefully examine the records, manifestos and development plans of all aspirants as the political process progresses, particularly proposals capable of delivering sustainable and long-term benefits to the constituency.
