I Lost About N35 Million in Agriculture When Tinubu Became President” — Northern Woman

A Northern woman has expressed anger over the policies of President Bola Tinubu’s administration, claiming that she lost about ₦35 million and her life savings in the agricultural sector since he assumed office in 2023.

According to the woman, the cost of agricultural production tripled under the current administration, making it increasingly difficult for farmers to remain profitable.

She also blamed the importation of grains into Nigeria for contributing to a crash in the prices of locally produced grains, alleging that farmers who had invested heavily in production were unable to sell their produce at profitable prices.

The woman further cited insecurity and kidnapping as major challenges affecting farmers, saying many were forced to stay away from their farms for fear of attacks.

“When I say Tinubu must be voted out, many don’t understand my pain and anger. I lost about ₦35 million and my life savings in the agric sector when Tinubu became president,” she said.
