1. Never smoke
Smoking is the worst thing for the skin: premature wrinkles and a grayish tone. Quitting is one of the most visible changes that exist.
2. Protect your skin from the sun every day.
Facial sunscreen (SPF 30+) daily, even with clouds or indoors near windows. It's the number 1 factor against wrinkles, spots, and sagging.
3. Basic skincare routine (2-3 minutes a day):
- Cleanse your face with a gentle cleanser.
- Hydrate (hyaluronic acid or retinol for anti-aging).
- Retinol at night, starting gradually.
Improves texture, reduces wrinkles, and gives a natural glow.
4. Sleep 7-9 hours of quality rest.
Sleep is when your skin repairs itself. Getting little sleep leaves you with dark circles, dull skin, and a tired face. It adds years to your appearance for free.
5. Train strength and some cardio, 3-5 times per week.
Weights maintain muscle and posture. A fit body and good posture take 5-10 years off you effortlessly.
6. Eat well and stay hydrated.
- Prioritize protein, fruit, vegetables, and healthy fats.
- Drink 2-3 liters of water a day.
- Cut back on sugar, ultra-processed foods, and alcohol.
Your diet shows up directly in your skin and your weight.
7. Take care of hair and beard.
- Clean and up-to-date cut (short usually looks younger and tidier).
- Well-groomed beard, or less hair if it makes you look younger.
- With gray hair: dye it or embrace it with style, but with intention.
8. Smile, manage stress, and straighten your posture.
Smiling and staying upright convey youthful energy. And it lowers stress: cortisol accelerates aging.
9. Take care of your teeth and hands.
Clean teeth and moisturized hands add up to more than you think. Whiten if necessary and use hand cream.
10. Dress well and in your size.
Fitted but comfortable clothing, colors that suit you, and good tailoring make you look more vibrant. Avoid oversized and overly youthful styles.
