An emotional testimony shared by a Nigerian woman has left members of a church congregation in tears after she recounted donating one of her kidneys to save her husband.
According to the woman, her husband had been battling kidney disease, prompting her to donate one of her kidneys to him in an effort to save his life.
She revealed that both her remaining kidney and the transplanted kidney she donated to her husband are now experiencing health complications.
During an emotional appeal before the congregation, the woman reportedly asked the pastor to pray for her husband's kidney first, saying she would rather see him healed even if her own condition remained unresolved.
She said in part:
“I donated one of my kidneys to my husband who had kidney problems, and now my own Kidney is having Issues also my husband’s New kidney which I donated is also having Issues too, but I want you pastor to do my husbands own kidney and leave my own….”
Her testimony has since sparked emotional reactions online, with many social media users praising her sacrifice and praying for the complete recovery of both husband and wife.
