Lagos State Governor has commissioned the Lagos Fresh Food Hub in Pen Cinema, Agege, a modern facility designed to improve how food moves from farmers and suppliers to communities across the state.
Built on 7,000 square metres, the hub provides space for hundreds of traders, alongside dry and cold storage facilities, a dedicated seafood section, parking spaces and EV charging points.
The facility is part of Lagos State’s wider food distribution network, connecting farmers, traders, retailers, institutional buyers and consumers through a more organised supply chain.
Agege now serves as one of the middle-level food distribution hubs, supplied by the Central Food Security and Logistics Hub at Ketu-Ereyun, alongside other hubs such as Mushin.
A strategic investment aimed at strengthening food distribution, reducing supply-chain challenges and improving food security across Lagos.
