Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal prison release date has been brought forward for the third time amid reports that he was involved in a physical altercation with another inmate.
Federal Bureau of Prisons records showed on Wednesday that the 56-year-old music mogul is now eligible for release on 24 January 2028.
“At this point we do not have the necessary information to respond with any clarity,” Combs’ spokesperson said concerning the latest change.
Combs is serving a 50-month sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution, Fort Dix, New Jersey. His release was initially scheduled for 4 June 2028.
The date was moved to 25 April 2028 in March and changed again two months later to 23 February 2028.
The latest adjustment came less than a week after several media outlets reported that Combs allegedly fought with another inmate.
Prison officers reportedly broke up the fight before Combs was moved to solitary confinement. His spokesperson has not publicly addressed the alleged incident.
FCI Fort Dix also declined to confirm the remaining and more serious charges.
Combs is participating in Fort Dix’s Residential Dru9 Abu$e Programme.
Federal agents reportedly found ketamine, MDMA and prescription drugs in his New York City hotel room when he was arrested. Former employees also testified during his trial that they had procured substances, including c0c@ine and m@riju@na, for him.
In a letter submitted before his sentencing, Combs admitted that he had “lost his way” in “drų9s and excess.”
Under the programme, inmates who meet its requirements may qualify for up to one year off their prison sentences.
