The State Deputy Chairman (Ogun East) of the Nigeria Youth Organization (NYO), Ogun State Chapter, Comrade Benjamin A. Odedina (BEN EDU), has applauded the youths of Ogun State for their impressive participation in the just-concluded Permanent Voter's Card (PVC) registration exercise.
BEN EDU described the massive turnout of young people across the state as a remarkable demonstration of civic responsibility and a renewed commitment to strengthening Nigeria's democracy.
According to him, "The successful conclusion of the PVC registration exercise marks another significant step towards greater youth participation in governance. I commend every young person who took advantage of the opportunity to register and secure their right to vote."
He noted that obtaining a PVC is not the end of the journey but the beginning of a greater responsibility to participate actively in future elections by voting peacefully and responsibly.
BEN EDU also encouraged those who successfully registered to collect their PVCs as soon as they are ready, safeguard them, and use them to elect credible leaders who will prioritize the welfare and development of the people.
He reaffirmed his commitment to sustained voter education, youth mobilization, and advocacy for increased youth participation in governance, emphasizing that the collective voice of the youth remains a powerful force for positive change.
