South African singer Tyla has left fans in stitches after revealing one of her biggest pet peeves people with bad breath who insist on whispering.
Speaking on the KISS podcast, the Grammy-winning artist made her stance clear: "If you have bad breath, you're not allowed to whisper."
She recalled an awkward professional encounter with a man who kept leaning in to whisper, even though the setting wasn't particularly loud.
"You are not allowed to whisper. Like, that's all I need to say. Like one time, oh my gosh, this guy. But it was professional, so he had to, like, talk to me, and he had to tell me things. And the place was not even that loud, but he was acting like it was loud, whispering."
According to Tyla, the experience was so uncomfortable that it has stuck with her as one of her most unforgettable pet peeves.
