Andrey Santos, a Brazilian midfielder, has officially joined Manchester United from Chelsea. The Premier League team confirmed the move on Monday.
In a reputed £50 million agreement that includes performance-related add-ons, the 22-year-old joins Old Trafford as United continues to bolster their roster in preparation for the 2026–2027 campaign.
After joining Chelsea from Brazil's Vasco da Gama in 2023, Santos has been there for three years.

After completing the transfer, the Brazilian acknowledged his happiness and called it a "dream opportunity."

The midfield player also talked about working with Michael Carrick, the manager of United.

Santos said that his choice was inspired by the team's calibre and the club's aspirations.
“Everybody told me about how ambitious the club is and the amazing environment that has been created here. I know just how strong the squad is and I cannot wait to fight together to compete for the biggest trophies.”
Before joining Chelsea in 2023, Santos advanced via Vasco do Gama's development system.
He made 43 appearances at Stamford Bridge last season and contributed to the Blues' 2025 FIFA Club World Cup victory.
As Manchester United tries to bolster its midfield options for the upcoming season, the Brazilian becomes one of the team's major recruits during the current transfer window.
