A woman has spoken about the personal reasons behind her decision to get married, revealing that she had grown weary of repeatedly starting over in new relationships.
In a video making the rounds online, she explained that one of her main motivations was the desire to have a partner who would accept her for who she is, without the need to constantly deal with insecurities or repeatedly open up emotionally to different people.
She also described marriage as a source of security and stability. According to her, dating often comes with uncertainty, as relationships can end unexpectedly, whereas marriage offered her a stronger sense of commitment.
The woman said she became tired of investing years in relationships only for them to end, forcing her to begin the process of getting to know someone new all over again.
She further disclosed that when she met her husband, he had very little, but she chose to build a life with him. Looking back on her journey, she said she is now six years into her marriage and remains grateful for the decision she made, adding that she cannot imagine still being in the dating scene today.
