An emotional scene unfolded in Abia State after a man climbed onto the fence of his newly built house in a desperate attempt to stop it from being demolished during an alleged land dispute.
In the video, the distraught homeowner is seen lying flat on top of the fence as a bulldozer moves closer and begins pulling the structure down. Despite repeated warnings from people at the scene to come down for his own safety, he refused to leave.
As the demolition continued, the man was seen standing and later sitting on the fence while the bulldozer kept tearing it down, creating a heartbreaking moment that left many onlookers visibly concerned.
The incident has since sparked widespread reactions online, with many Nigerians expressing sympathy for the homeowner and raising concerns about the demolition of residential properties amid unresolved land disputes.
