Media personality Daddy Freeze has weighed in on the ongoing debate surrounding Tyla’s planned visit to Nigeria amid reports of xenophobic attacks in South Africa.
In his reaction, he questioned what he described as selective outrage, pointing to the continued use of South African-owned services by Nigerians.
In his words, he said
“Nigerians, I understand that many feel it’s wrong for Tyla to come to Nigeria while xenophobic attacks are happening in South Africa. But let me ask you this: Isn’t the SIM card in the phone you’re using to criticize Tyla an MTN SIM? Didn’t you watch DStv last night? We’re being hypocritical. That’s the truth.
