The management of the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Kaduna, has announced an extension for its 2026/2027 Post-UTME screening application and the window for the change of institution.
This extension provides an opportunity for prospective candidates who missed the initial registration window to complete their applications and secure eligibility for the upcoming screening exercise.
New Deadlines and Timelines
Candidates choosing AFIT are advised to take note of the following updated dates:
Deadline for Change of Institution: Candidates wishing to switch their first-choice institution to AFIT via the JAMB portal must complete the process on or before 31st July, 2026.
Deadline for Post-UTME Online Application: The portal for the submission of the online Post-UTME screening form will now officially close on 8th August, 2026.
Important Instructions for Candidates
First Choice Requirement: To be eligible for the screening, candidates must ensure that AFIT is successfully selected as their first-choice institution on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) before the July 31 deadline.
Application Completion: All prospective applicants must upload their O'Level results (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) onto the JAMB portal and complete their registration on the official AFIT portal before the final closing date in August.
