A young Ghanaian woman is trending after a video surfaced of her openly chanting traditional curses against a man named Kelvin amid allegations that he had an intimate relationship with her.
In the popular video, the clearly distressed woman is seen standing in the middle of a road, carrying a crate of eggs and a bottle of schnapps, both of which are commonly connected with traditional oath-taking and spiritual invocations in several Ghanaian communities.
According to the woman, Kelvin had been telling others that he had slept with her.
She vehemently refuted the accusation and argued that the allegations had ruined her reputation.
She expressed her aggravation by pleading with traditional deities to punish the young man if his assertions were incorrect.
She also threatened him and his family with serious spiritual consequences, claiming that if she had been wrongfully accused, the gods would exact judgement.
