Transfer: Fred Onyedinma Signs New Contract with Wycombe Wanderers


High Wycombe, England – Nigerian midfielder Fred Onyedinma has signed a new contract with English League One side Wycombe Wanderers, extending his stay at the club ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The club confirmed the renewal after Onyedinma's previous contract was due to expire at the end of June. However, the duration of the new agreement was not disclosed.

The 29-year-old enjoyed an impressive campaign last season, scoring 10 goals in 48 appearances across all competitions, establishing himself as one of Wycombe's key performers.

Onyedinma first joined the Chairboys on loan before completing a permanent move to the club in 2019. Since then, the versatile midfielder has become an important member of the squad with his consistent performances.

Wycombe Wanderers will begin their new League One campaign with an opening-day fixture against Stevenage on August 8.
