Terrorists attack Chibok Community, set Schools Ablaze

Suspected Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists on Saturday evening invaded Kautikari village in Chibok Local Government Area of Borno State, setting a primary school and a day secondary school on fire.

The attack, which reportedly began around 7 p.m., forced residents to flee into nearby bushes in search of safety as panic spread across the community.

A security personnel from Kautikari, who confirmed the incident, said the extent of casualties remains unclear at the time of reporting.

Kautikari has suffered repeated attacks by insurgents in recent years, raising fresh concerns over security in the area.

Authorities are yet to issue an official statement on the latest assault.
