KADUNA — In a major victory for the protection of national infrastructure, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has successfully recovered a massive cache of stolen and vandalized railway track materials in Kaduna State.
The operation, which took place on June 6, 2026, targeted the Birnin Yaro Factory, a site where authorities discovered significant quantities of stolen rail components.
Following the raid, security teams successfully secured the items, which are now being transported in multiple truckloads back to the Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC) yard.
