LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM – The English Premier League has officially released the fixture list for the 2026/27 season, with reigning champions Arsenal set to begin the defence of their title against newly promoted Coventry City.
The opening match of the new campaign will take place on Friday, August 21, 2026, at the Emirates Stadium, where Arsenal will host Frank Lampard’s Coventry City side.
Runners-up Manchester City will start their season at home against Bournemouth, while Manchester United travel to face newly promoted Hull City in one of the standout fixtures of the opening weekend.
Chelsea will take on Fulham in a West London derby, while Liverpool face a difficult away trip to Newcastle United.
The Premier League confirmed that the 2026/27 campaign will begin on August 21 and feature 33 weekend rounds alongside five midweek match rounds.
