The Ooni of Ife and Natural Father of the Oduduwa Race Worldwide, His Imperial Majesty, Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, has described the Dangote Refinery as Africa's greatest industrial statement yet, saying the landmark facility demonstrates the continent's capacity to compete at the highest levels of global industry.
The revered monarch, who is also the Arole Oduduwa, Co Chairman of the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria and Permanent Chairman of the Southern Nigeria Traditional Rulers Council, made the remarks after leading a distinguished delegation of investors, stakeholders and representatives of national institutions on a strategic visit to the refinery.
According to the Ooni, the project embodies a bold vision for accelerating Africa's industrialisation through transformational investments, expanded production capacity and enhanced energy security. The monarch further noted that, as a modern Nigerian owned refinery serving domestic and export markets, the facility adheres to the highest international standards in quality, safety and environmental responsibility, helping to set a new benchmark for cleaner fuels across Africa.
Paying tribute to President of the Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, the Ooni commended his unwavering commitment to building world class infrastructure capable of transforming economies and inspiring future generations of African entrepreneurs.
