PROFILE: COMR. AJIBADE QUDUS ABIODUN – HEAD OF MEDIA & PUBLICITY, NANS
Comr. Ajibade Qudus Abiodun is a student leader, journalist, and the newly appointed Head of Media & Publicity of the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS.
Born in Gurara Local Government Area, Niger State, and with roots in Osun State, Ajibade brings grassroots insight to national student representation. He is currently studying Guidance and Counseling at Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo.
His service to NANS began as Director of Anti-Social Vices at NANS Headquarters. Since then, he has served on several key committees: NANS JCC CPC Member 2023, NANS Southwest CPC PRO 2026, Assistant Secretary General, LOC for the 85th NANS National Senate Sitting, Media Committee for ‘Rise with NANS Ondo 2025’, and Committee Member for the 2024 NANS Southwest Games.
As Head of Media & Publicity, his mandate is clear: amplify student voices and ensure leadership responds to campus concerns. He champions pro-student leadership that prioritizes students’ welfare, fees, and academic stability above politics.
With a passion for journalism and content creation, Ajibade uses new media to mobilize students and fight misinformation. “Clear, truthful, and timely information is the strongest tool against misinformation,” he notes.
He runs an accessible, open-door media office where students can reach him directly with issues affecting them. His vision is to build a NANS media team that is fast, factual, and feared by those who exploit students.
Guided by his motto: “No student left behind, no voice silenced. If it affects students, I will speak on it.”
