Meet the Chief of Staff to NANS President, Comrade Adegoke Naheem Ademola



Comrade Adegoke Naheem Ademola (Arab) is a distinguished and committed student leader whose passion for student advocacy and dedication to educational development has earned him a sterling reputation within the Nigerian student movement.

A proud indigene of Oyo State, he hails from Ibadan, where he was born, raised, and nurtured in a culturally rich environment. His academic journey began at IDC Primary School, Olunloyo in Ona Ara Local Government, Ibadan. He proceeded to Islamic Mission Grammar School, Ibadan, before furthering his education at Agbonran School of Science Ede, Osun State, where his interest in leadership and civic responsibility began to crystallize.

Comr. Ademola pursued higher education at Crown Polytechnic, where he obtained both his National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND). Driven by his quest for continual growth and contribution to the academic community, he is currently undergoing his Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) at Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba Akoko.

Over the years, Comr. Adegoke Naheem Ademola has demonstrated unwavering dedication to the welfare of students and the advancement of student unionism. His journey in student leadership is rooted in grassroots activism, strategic organizing, and servant leadership.

He previously served as the Director of Transport and Tourism, National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Joint Campus Council (JCC), Ondo State, where he prioritized safe and affordable mobility solutions for students.
Recognized for his consistency, credibility, and capacity, he was appointed as the Chairman, Board of Trustees and Directors, NANS JCC Ondo State, a role through which he provided visionary oversight and mentorship to emerging student leaders across various campuses.

He served as the Deputy Coordinator of NANS Southwest (Zone D), where he represents the collective voice of students across all tertiary institutions in the Southwest geopolitical zone. In this capacity, Comr. Ademola has championed critical policy conversations, mediated campus-community conflicts, and led advocacy efforts aimed at improving the quality of education, student welfare, and democratic participation.

Comrade Adegoke Naheem Ademola (Arab) remains an exemplary advocate of justice, equity, and inclusive development. He is widely admired for his calm disposition, strategic thinking, and enduring commitment to the ideals of solidarity and progressive student activism.
