Man Apprehended in Benin After Allegedly Attempting to Abscond With N2M Samsung Galaxy Fold Ordered on Delivery

A man was reportedly apprehended in Benin City, Edo State, after allegedly attempting to flee with a Samsung Galaxy Fold smartphone valued at over ₦2 million that had been ordered through a pay-on-delivery arrangement.

According to reports, the delivery rider raised an alarm after the suspect allegedly tried to escape with the device without making payment. Bystanders reportedly intervened, leading to the suspect's swift apprehension.

The suspect was said to have claimed that he believed the device was a less expensive smartphone worth approximately ₦180,000, rather than a premium Samsung Galaxy Fold.
