A Nigerian woman based in the United Kingdom has stirred reactions online after sharing her experience of what she describes as a common practice in the country—finding free food and items left by the roadside.
In her words, she claimed that it is normal to see food and other useful items placed outside for anyone to take, adding that she and others often check what’s available whenever they step out.
“This is what we see all the time in the UK—free food kept by the roadside. It’s one of the many free things people leave outside, and whenever we step out, we always check what’s available to pick up,” she said.
