The Benue State Government, through the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy, has recruited 100 maritime workers as marshals to strengthen safety, security, and operational activities along the River Benue.
The initiative is part of the state's efforts to harness the economic potential of its waterways and promote the development of the marine and blue economy sector.
The recruitment exercise is being coordinated under the supervision of the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Marine and Waterways, Hon. Paulugbubebe Bebe, whose efforts have been widely commended by stakeholders.
