UMUAHIA, Nigeria – The governorship candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in Abia State, Doris Ogala, has joined calls for urgent action to address the worsening security situation across Nigeria.
Ogala participated in a protest highlighting concerns over persistent kidnappings, banditry, terrorism, and other violent crimes affecting communities across the country. The demonstration also drew attention to the plight of citizens who have been abducted and families affected by insecurity.
The AAC governorship candidate urged government authorities at all levels to prioritize the protection of lives and property, stressing that security remains the primary responsibility of government.
According to her, Nigerians deserve to live without fear and should be able to carry out their daily activities in a safe environment. She called for stronger measures to combat criminal groups and secure vulnerable communities.
