The All Progressives Congress (APC) has ruled out any review of the results of its recently concluded 2027 primaries despite petitions and protests from aggrieved aspirants across the country.
Party officials said the appeal window has closed and preparations are underway to submit the names of successful candidates to INEC ahead of the July 11 deadline.
According to APC sources, most petitions were found to be frivolous, with less than two per cent reportedly resulting in any changes. The party also dismissed reports that President Bola Tinubu had intervened in the post-primary disputes.
However, some dissatisfied aspirants, particularly in Lagos and other states, remain hopeful that the President will step in before the final list of candidates is uploaded, warning that unresolved grievances could affect the party’s performance in the 2027 elections.
