“There Is Nothing Like Big 3 — It’s All Illusion” — Bankulli

Afrobeats talent manager Bankulli has sparked fresh debate after dismissing the long-standing idea of a “Big 3” in the music industry, calling it nothing more than a social media illusion.

Speaking on Tochi Talks, he argued that music success isn’t a fixed hierarchy but a reflection of individual talent and timing.

According to him, every artist has a unique role to play, drawing comparisons to history and emphasizing that greatness cannot be boxed into a select few.

He referenced stars like Davido, Burna Boy, Rema, and Joeboy as examples of artists thriving on their own paths.

🗣️ “Everybody is talented… Big 3 is just clickbait,” he said.

He also pointed out that newer stars like Rema continue to dominate globally without needing validation from any so-called “Big 3,” reinforcing his stance that success in Afrobeats is open to all.

🔥 Is the “Big 3” real or just hype?
