Sir Dave Brailsford is no longer involved in the leadership structure at Manchester United following a major internal reshuffle within INEOS.
Brailsford, the former Team Sky cycling chief, had played a key behind-the-scenes role at Old Trafford after Sir Jim Ratcliffe completed his investment in the club in December 2023.
The 62-year-old was heavily involved in building Manchester United’s new executive structure, including the appointment of Omar Berrada as chief executive.
Reports now indicate that Brailsford has officially stepped away from his duties at United and will move into a different area of INEOS’ wider business operations.
His departure marks another significant change in the ongoing restructuring at the club as INEOS continue reshaping Manchester United’s football and business operations.
