Obasa Promises Diligent Representation In National Assembly On APC Ticket


The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, winning the primary election of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for the House of Representatives, promised diligent representation for the people of Agege Federal Constituency, in the National Assembly. 

The Speaker elevating his political ambition from the State House of Assembly to the House of Representatives of the National Assembly, Abuja, said that the victory was a responsibility, and he accepted it with humility. 

According to Obasa, "Your massive support and the outcome of the primary are clear demonstrations of your belief in our shared vision for better representation, sustained development and stronger grassroots leadership for Agege.

"I do not take this mandate for granted. It is a responsibility I accept with humility and total commitment to continue serving our people diligently.

"At the National Assembly, I will continue to champion the interests of Agege by pushing for more federal presence, youth empowerment opportunities, improved infrastructure, quality education, better healthcare delivery and economic initiatives that will directly impact our people.

"I will also remain accessible to the grassroots, maintain constant engagement with constituents and ensure that the voices of our people are heard loudly and clearly in Abuja."

He expressed gratitude to APC leaders, supporters, and stakeholders for his emergence as substantial House of Representatives candidate in the 2027 general elections. 

Obasa expressed inter alia: "I am sincerely grateful to our party leaders, stakeholders, supporters and the good people of Agege for the overwhelming support and confidence shown in APC House of Representatives primary election.

"[The] victory belongs to every loyal party member, every supporter and every resident who believes in continuity, progress and purposeful representation.

"Together, we will continue to move Agege forward."
